Gaastra attorneys at law has adopted a cost free procedure for handling complaints. Their goal is to resolve any complaint within a reasonable period of time (within 4 weeks or earlier if possible) and to provide the complainant the opportunity to be heard (written or oral). We feel that this is of importance for the quality of our services and maintaining the fine relationship that we have with our clients, many of whom we have worked with for many years.
André Gaastra is acting as the complaint official. Complaints related to the treatment of a client or a third party or the work product of an attorney at law acting on behalf of the firm can be filed with him through e-mail (email@example.com). If the complaint relates to Mr Gaastra himself, it will be dealt with by another lawyer of the firm. In case the complainant feels that the complaint is not settled satisfactorily, the complaint official may propose an attempt to resolve the matter through mediation. If that would also not lead to the complaint being resolved, the complainant may submit the dispute to the competent court.
